The archeological site was accidentaly found during construction activities in the area. The antique forum complex is one of the most monumental installations of this type. A unique element of this complex is the amphitheatrically constructed theatron facing to the square area.

Nowadays, a tribune for viewers is constructed at the antique forum, and it is used as a scene for various opera, theatre, ballet and festival events. Mitkulishev Photography Ivan Mandevski © Photo: Svetoslav Todev
